Go Whitewater Rafting

There is an exciting fun summer activity that I was a little reluctant to try, but am glad I did. Whitewater rafting is so much fun. Of course having a guide to help you down the river and through the rapids makes things safer than setting off on your own so we got ourselves a guide. Mike was a fun guide and told us things about the river and the surrounding area. In the Smoky Mountains there are many rivers to enjoy the sport of whitewater rafting. It is something I want to do over and over again!

I am third (back of picture in yellow) on the right side of the boat that looks like its down in the water, next to Mike the guide. Yes, I yelled through all the rapids it was so much fun! What a great time!

Crash a Wedding

If you ever want to crash a wedding, make sure its a Greek or Jewish wedding. There is so much fun at these weddings and the people really know how to enjoy themselves at special events. The people at this particular Jewish wedding were wonderful fun and I had a great time meeting them, dancing and just enjoying the fun quirkiness of the couple getting married. The event took place at a beautiful art gallery and it was a magical union.

Bike to Riverbend

Riding a bike is always fun, and renting a bike in many cities can be easy. So, when I saw people enjoying the spaces around the Riverbend Music Festival and Chattanooga's beautiful downtown area on bike, I found the bike rental for myself. I just had to rent a bike and enjoy the area in and around the festival on a bike too. Here are some of the things I saw and enjoyed.
