Photograph a Mountain Wedding

Photography is a wonderful way to capture moments and memories. Weddings are sweet and fun, but I had never been to a mountain wedding before. This is one experience I really enjoyed photographing.

Ride a Train to Nantahala Gorge, North Carolina

Riding a train is one of the wonderful ways to experience Nantahala Gorge and the autumn explosion of colorful leaves in North Carolina. Whether you go by car, hiking, or take the Great Smoky Mountain Railway, it is one beautiful place to enjoy the mountains and the beautiful scenery of the USA. The train leaves twice a day from Brice City and takes you on a trip through some of the most amazing autumn foliage to a river and more. It is only 3 hours drive from Atlanta, GA, and well worth it.

Have Fresh Eggs From My Own Chickens

There is nothing like fresh eggs, and there is nothing like going out into your back yard and collecting fresh eggs that were just laid by your very own chickens. It's a wonderful experience and my chickens are such a joy to watch. I am absolutely keeping these chickens so I can do this over and over again!

Become a Wedding Planner

Weddings can be fun. This one was a small outdoor wedding with about 50 people attending. Just beware that if you do the decorations, the flowers, the cake, the food and plan the ceremony at some point something will go wrong. Fortunately the only thing that happened was out of my control, the best man was late. Everything else went smoothly and it was a wonderful wedding (even if a bit late in starting). I big thank you to my helpers; Stephany, Meghan, Eric, Jacob and Will. Also thanks to DJ Santiago Paramo for wonderful music during the wedding and meal, and for keeping everyone dancing till the party was over. Couldn't have pulled it off without their help the day before and the day of the wedding. Congratulations to the happy couple! (Not so sure I am going to try this one again! Although fun, it was a lot of work!!)
